SWPP Convention 2015
Wow ! What can I say. I have spent an amazing few days speaking at the SWPP convention in London.
It is always a fantastic event and this year was no different 🙂 The first class that I was presenting to was on Friday morning… and the last one finished at 6pm on Sunday so it was a very busy few days. This year I covered a few different topics including designing wedding albums, Adobe Lightroom and Low Light wedding photography.
All I have to do now is to email all the attendees with the download links that I promised them (my job for this afternoon 🙂 )
During the Convention one of my good friends was awarded his Fellowship for his portraits of Wrestlers; it was amazing to hear the character that each wrestler portrays as well as what they do in their “day jobs”. One thing I learnt is that you can never judge a person by their job ! There were people form hotel managers to IT consultants who are also amazing wrestlers.
It was also good to catch up with my suppliers and to see some of the new products and services that they will be launching this year. I’m particularly excited to see a new range of books that our album supplier will be producing that I think will be perfect for boudoir and portrait sessions.
Anyway, I will just give you a sneak peek of some of the images from my Low Light Superclass. None of these images use any additional lighting; just the lights, furniture and corridors of the hotel…… It is all about learning to “see” light. All the post processing has been done in Lightroom; none of these images have been edited in Photoshop 🙂
These were all taken on the Sony A7s with the Zeiss 24-70 lens.Â
