We recently had the pleasure of filming and photographing Sir Malcolm Campbells K3 Bluebird boat running on Bewl Water again. This was the most recent (and most successful !) test to date. We have been working on this project for five years now while the boat has been restored and it was great to see it back on the water and breaking 50mph.
This year is the 80th Anniversary of it’s first record breaking run and shows real dedication from the team to get it up and running again.
Filming and photographing a fast moving boat from another fast moving boat does present one or two technical challenges but we got some great footage from both the support boat and the onboard cameras.
