Well so far this summer the weather has been typically British ranging from scorching hot 30+ C to pouring with rain ! We were really lucky for Pippa & tom’s wedding, the scorching hot weather had passed and we managed to miss the rain 🙂
Pippa & Tom were married at the Methodist Church in Horley. Pippa has quite strong connections with the church and helps run the guides that are based there. Lots of the guides came along to form a guard of honour for them as they walked down the aisle, this was a complete surprise to them both !
After the wedding we all headed to the Felbridge Hotel for the reception. The weather was nice enough to have the drinks and canapés outside and for us to get some photos of the two of them together.
I’m always surprised how quickly time flies at a wedding, after ten years of photographing weddings I should be used to it but the day does go so quickly and there is always a look of surprise on the couples face when they realise it is time to sit down and eat. Luckily we had Paul Smith as the toastmaster who was able to help find everyone for the group photos, I do think that a toastmaster is one of the most undervalued people at a wedding, they just help make sure that everything runs smoothly and help to make sure that everyone is in the right place at the right time.
Anyway, this is just a sneak peak at some of the photos from their day.
