On Tour with the SWPP

In Sony A7 series, technical, Training by lisa@lisabeaney.co.ukLeave a Comment

Well, I have recently come back from a training tour with the SWPP. The week was spent travelling the “North” including Scotland, Cumbria and Yorkshire. The training days were designed to show people how you can use available light to create beautiful photographs and if there is no light available how you can use off camera flash or other lights such as the Elinchrom Quadras to create amazing portraits.

It was lovely to be working the Loretta again how spent the week modelling for us and we had some very different venues to work at. In some ways it was much like a wedding day because you have no control over the weather and no choice of venue ! I just had half an hour before hand to have a quick look round and find the places that I wanted to work in čÖé

The following are some of the images and a brief description as to how they were taken…

This was taken with window light. I found a window that didn’t have bright sunlight coming through it (not actually a problem in Scotland !) and positioned Loretta just to one side of it…. Camera settings : ISO 800 1/125 f4 at about 50mm on the Sony A7R2 with the┬áSony Zeiss f4 24-70 lens.
